Historical development of the Regime Geometry Equations, Part-I

چکیده
The present study intended to review the historical development of regime geometry equations proposed by many researchers since 1895. Kennedy started search for attributes stable channels on Upper Bari Doab Canal Punjab in 1980-1984. concept was presented Lindley (1919) that later Lacey (1930) modified a set most widely used relations. Later on, Blench (1941-1957), and Simons Albertson (1960) their equations. This period is called ‘canal period’ because research focused canal design. extended river systems Leopold Maddock 1953. In 1963, Henderson some can be applied predicting geometry. transition from an empirical approach analytical as ‘Transitional Period’. Many other written information based approach, or combination between approaches, more especially gravel bed regime. is, ‘River period’. Flow discharge, sediment size, bed-load are three main factors influence alluvial channels. hydraulic relationships indicate size strongly channel slope, moderately flow velocity, slightly depth width. also shows terms Shields parameter, exponents transport dependent relative submergence (D/d50).

Chewing or mastication is one of the main functions of the stomatognathic system. The use of devices for quantitatively measuring mandibular motion has recently become more common in scientific and clinical use. Often, the goal has been to provide an objective basis for diagnosing musculoskeletal disorders of the jaws, to monitor the progress of active treatment methods or to evaluate prosthodo...

متن کاملRecurrent metrics in the geometry of second order differential equations
Given a pair (semispray $S$, metric $g$) on a tangent bundle, the family of nonlinear connections $N$ such that $g$ is recurrent with respect to $(S, N)$ with a fixed recurrent factor is determined by using the Obata tensors. In particular, we obtain a characterization for a pair $(N, g)$ to be recurrent as well as for the triple $(S, stackrel{c}{N}, g)$ where $stackrel{c}{N}$ is the canonical ...
